Mountain View Public Library

Our Vision

The mission of the Mountain View Public Library is to provide resources and services to meet the informational needs of the community. It is the desire of the Mountain View Public Library Staff, Advisory Board, and City Council to create a user-friendly library that provides materials and information to all citizens.

Storytime:

The Mountain View Public Library Storytime has started back up! We would like to welcome children ages 0-6 to come. Here at the library, we host storytime every Wednesday at 10:00 am. Join us for fun stories, crafts, and of course, a yummy snack. We hope to see you there.

Book Sales

The Mountain View Public Library hosts book sales on the first Saturday of the month.

Want a book that We don't have?

The Mountain View Public Library is part of a resource-sharing program with over 50 other libraries. To use this program Patrons must have a library card in good standing and must have been a member of our library for at least 30 days.

Need internet or computer access?

Come to the Mountain View Public Library for free wifi and computer access. We also provide printing services from the computers at 25 cents a page and faxing services at 50 cents a page. 

MVPL has a wide assortment of Items for checkout.

At MVPL we have books, CD audiobooks, DVDs, magazines, and even fishing gear. 

The Mountain View Public Library is also part of an e-book consortium that boasts over 50,000 titles. All of these titles are accessible through your library card. 

Join the Friends of Moutnain View Public Library

Become a member of the Friends of the library association. Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 1:30 pm.

Membership dues are $5.00 a year.
